                                   Welcome to OUR HOME

When I was a kid and was defenceless like the ones I want to talk about now,

One faithful day in a big commercial city of Aba, in Abia-State Nigeria.

I came across a defenceless new born baby abandoned and crying for help with a
sweet voice asking for an attention. I came closer to see from where the baby was
crying from, but it was raining really strong. I found a plastic bag wrapped close to
the general rubbish bin but every where was stinking of left over food from the
weekend all abandoned there with the baby. I touched the plastic bag and found out
its was not a strange cry but a baby boy. He was there with some left over blood on
him. I joined him in the crying section but thought that would not help issues because
he really needs to enter into another stage of humanity which is knowing he is innocent
and need not to cry for attention; then he need to get out of the plastic bag he was
kept, get washed for the first time in his life and have a new cloth on.

I called for help, but it was a rushing monday morning that people wants to get back to
their businesses and shops after the weekend spendings.I got a helper and she was an
advanced woman. She removed one part of her wrapper from the two parts women wear
in Africa and wrapped the baby. I got abit relieved and the baby stopped shouting.
The incident started gathering people around and they started giving ideas and finally
we reported to the police and they took the baby to General Hospital Aba where the
Government could help.

Ever since then I have been seeing and hearing helpless babies crying for help and
this dreams of having a motherless babies home has always followed all my ways of
being and life. When I first met my wife I told her my dreams and she has always
told me they will come to reality and that I should keep my spirit high towards it.
That one day I will make the dreams turn into reality.

Around you, there are millions of defenceless kids. If you really do understand from
the depth of my heart what I mean. Show some love to them. Nobody knows the
pregnancy that would be king later. They need us really much and the best thing that
could happen to us should be when we see them happy and put some laughs in their
innocent faces. Like you see your kids very cute, see them as cute as your kids as
well. One day a woman gave birth to them without any jubilation of any kind rather
they were seen to be a burden, either because
of economic or finacial incapabilities or because they felt ashamed to have a baby at
their tender age.

So I think its a good time to embrace these kids and show them
they could be loved and taken care of.

Ones again you are welcome to Our Home.
